Graham Cooke: The Recovery Of Wholeness

1 comment:

  1. Ro 6:6 knowing this, that our old humanity was crucified together with Him, that the body of Sin may be nullified, for us by no means to be still slaving for Sin,
7 for one who dies has been justified from Sin. Concordant Literal Version

The verb tense for “dies” in verse 7, is a Act form of verb, which means the verb action is incomplete with action going on. There is a good description of the aorist tense in the Greek language at the following address. http://www.justifiedfreely.com/?p=184 You might also read another article at that site about propitiation. http://www.justifiedfreely.com/?p=182
These two articles and others on that site may be of use in putting dying to the flesh in a clearer context.
